This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which orders may be modified, cancelled, or refunded. By placing an order with Ujjval & Co., you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Order Cancellation
a. Before Shipment
- Orders may be cancelled within 15 business days of placement, provided the goods have not yet been dispatched or processed for export/import clearance.
- To request a cancellation, email us at sales@thespicedesi.com with your order details.
- If approved, a cancellation confirmation will be sent, and a refund (if applicable) will be processed within [7–14 business days].
b. After Shipment
- Once an order is shipped or cleared for export/import, it cannot be cancelled.
- Any cancellation in such cases will be subject to return and restocking charges (see below).
2. Refunds
a. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds are only applicable in the following cases:
- Product damaged during transit (with valid evidence)
- Incorrect goods delivered (not matching the purchase order or invoice)
- Failure to deliver due to errors on our part
b. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Delay due to customs or port authorities
- Buyer’s failure to provide necessary import/export documents
- Change of mind after shipment
- Perishable, customized, or special-order goods
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at sales@thespicedesi.com within [3–5 business days] of receiving the goods.
- Provide order number, invoice, reason for return, and supporting evidence (e.g., photos).
- If approved, return the item(s) to the designated address at your cost unless otherwise agreed.
Important Notes:
- Returned goods must be in original packaging and unused condition.
- All returns are subject to inspection and approval by our quality control team.
- Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.
4. Restocking & Handling Fees
In cases where returns are accepted after shipment, a restocking fee of [25% – 35%] may apply, depending on the nature of the goods and administrative handling.
5. Force Majeure
