This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which orders may be modified, cancelled, or refunded. By placing an order with Ujjval & Co., you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Order Cancellation

a. Before Shipment

  • Orders may be cancelled within 15 business days of placement, provided the goods have not yet been dispatched or processed for export/import clearance.
  • To request a cancellation, email us at sales@thespicedesi.com with your order details.
  • If approved, a cancellation confirmation will be sent, and a refund (if applicable) will be processed within [7–14 business days].

b. After Shipment

  • Once an order is shipped or cleared for export/import, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Any cancellation in such cases will be subject to return and restocking charges (see below).

2. Refunds

a. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are only applicable in the following cases:

  • Product damaged during transit (with valid evidence)
  • Incorrect goods delivered (not matching the purchase order or invoice)
  • Failure to deliver due to errors on our part

b. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Delay due to customs or port authorities
  • Buyer’s failure to provide necessary import/export documents
  • Change of mind after shipment
  • Perishable, customized, or special-order goods

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at sales@thespicedesi.com within [3–5 business days] of receiving the goods.
  2. Provide order number, invoice, reason for return, and supporting evidence (e.g., photos).
  3. If approved, return the item(s) to the designated address at your cost unless otherwise agreed.

Important Notes:

  • Returned goods must be in original packaging and unused condition.
  • All returns are subject to inspection and approval by our quality control team.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.

4. Restocking & Handling Fees

In cases where returns are accepted after shipment, a restocking fee of [25% – 35%] may apply, depending on the nature of the goods and administrative handling.

5. Force Majeure

Ujjval & Co. is not liable for refund or cancellation due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political instability, transport strikes, or customs bans.
